Our Story

With the flagship store in Neukölln and a second location in Kreuzberg, Not Too Sweet is a vintage clothing store that curates secondhand clothing from the 90s and early 2000s. Since we started in 2016, we have expanded our collection to showcase Berlin's talent by including clothing and jewelry from emerging and established local designers. About the founder

"Growing up as the daughter of a seamstress and fabric cutter, I recall the sounds of sewing machines and playing hide and seek amongst the rolls of fabric in my parent’s clothing manufacturing factory in Sydney. It was far from the glamorous image synonymous with the fashion industry we see today. 

My mum introduced me to secondhand clothing as we would spend weekends rummaging through flea markets and charity shops. Inspired by my parents’ entrepreneurship and personal motivation to de-stigmatise secondhand clothing, I founded Not Too Sweet in 2016." - Lisa (founder)

    OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! Their selection are nice and I always found good stuffs here. I got cute leather jacket at home and today I got satin rope in good price. I will wear them all summer!!     walked past the shop a few times but never went inside but today a friend convinced me to go in and i was not disappointed! there's beautiful items on every rack, the employees had good vibes and were so kind and patient, there's a couple of different sellers in the shop so you get a good variety of unique pieces. everything is in TOP condition and clean. this visit really made me wanna spice up my wardrobe. thanks for the cute experience 🤍
